Galia Gomez, former student, and I.

As a child, a large amount of my leisure time involved setting up an imaginary classroom and playing teacher.  Years later, I didn't need to imagine anymore.  In 1989, I was hired by San Diego Unified School District.  I have been teaching English and history ever since.  Teaching is my passion, my artistic endeavor, my hope for a better world.
